How it works

We make it easy to reach a fence contractor that already works in your part of Iron County.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your town and what you need: a new vinyl, wood, rail or chain link fence, a gate, or repair of a fence that's leaning, broken or blown down.

  2. We connect you with a local company

Your call or request goes to an independent fence contractor that serves Cedar City and the surrounding towns.

  3. The company handles the job

They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Cedar City Fence Installation is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Utah's licensing law exempts small jobs with a contracted value under $7,000 (labor and materials together, including change orders); above that, fence work generally needs a contractor license from the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL), where fences fall under the S330 Landscape and Recreation classification. Even under $7,000, a person doing a job over $3,000 must file a liability insurance affirmation with DOPL. Look the license up on DOPL's site, ask for proof of liability insurance, and ask who will request Blue Stakes markings, who will check city and HOA rules, and what the written warranty covers.
